Foto Friday: Colonial Architecture in Macau

Foto Friday: Colonial Architecture in Macau

Every Friday I’ll be sharing a photo from someplace in my travels.

This week’s photo is from Macau S.A.R.

There’s something fascinating about the Special Administrative Region Macau. It’s more than just the casinos– it’s the food, the culture, the architecture. Parts of Macau had me feeling as though I was walking the streets of Europe. Granted I’ve never been to Europe, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it would feel like.

The Portuguese-style architecture made anything look beautiful, even when in the most unexpected places. Would you have guessed that the building below is a McDonalds?  It’s okay, I wouldn’t have either.
