FOTO FRIDAY: GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE IN SAN FRANCISCO

Every Friday I’ll be sharing a photo from someplace in my travels.

This week’s photo is of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

The Golden Gate Bridge is the icon of the city and no trip is complete without seeing it. That being said, we almost didn’t get to see it because it was so foggy each day.

Luckily, we took a gamble and impulsively headed out to the bridge on our City Sightseeing bus. It was completely clear with not a speck of fog. Even our bus driver was shocked because the previous days and even the previous bus trips he made that morning, the bridge had been completely shrouded with fog.

There’s just something magical about the Golden Gate Bridge and it’s vibrant International Orange color that gets me giddy. I’m just glad we were able to see it in all its fog-free glory!
