FOTO FRIDAY: TIMES SQUARE, NYC
Every Friday I’ll be sharing a photo from someplace in my travels.
This week’s photo is of Times Square in New York City.
There are few places in the US more iconic than Time Square. And while it’s constantly frustratingly crowded with tourists, I had to at least stop by to snap a few photos. Despite locals hating it (and I totally get why), there’s still something very fun about the tacky neon lights and billboards everywhere… it’s just so American, giant electric flag and all!
That’s why I thought this picture would be so fitting for today, as tomorrow is the Fourth of July! Can you believe that this will be the first time that I’ll be celebrating in four years? It’s crazy how time flies.
So here’s to wishing everyone a happy (and safe) Fourth of July tomorrow!
